Kitch'n'Art网上画廊艺术家OLYA LEONTIEVA

　　OLYA LEONTIEVA（http://www.kitchandart.com/#!ch-home/）c1kgs于1991年7月在俄罗斯莫斯科出生。在家人全力的支持下，OLYA LEONTIEVA从小就开始学美术。长大后OLYA LEONTIEVA却开始感到困惑彷徨和不确定性，OLYA LEONTIEVA总是觉得自己对艺术的热忱是非常个人化的事，也因此而感到无所适从。有一阵子，OLYA LEONTIEVA甚至不认为它会成为OLYA LEONTIEVA的职业。它对OLYA LEONTIEVA来说实在太好了，好到让人觉得不真实。

　　有几年OLYA LEONTIEVA非常热衷于影院设计，每周都会去影院好几次。但却未能进入舞台美术系。过后，OLYA LEONTIEVA决定把握另一个机会，前往莫斯科的英国艺术与设计高等学院报读插画课程。透过这项课程，OLYA LEONTIEVA发现自己内在的“声音”，人也变得更有自信。OLYA LEONTIEVA曾多次和系友参加在莫斯科“180平方米”画廊举办的常年学生结业展和集体演出。

　　在大学期间，OLYA LEONTIEVA重执画笔，感受抽象艺术的灵动，它唤醒了OLYA LEONTIEVA内在真正强大的力量。OLYA LEONTIEVA开始疯狂作画。不久后，OLYA LEONTIEVA发现自己的画作主要着重于空间。充斥着大气层的空间，让OLYA LEONTIEVA感觉舒适自在的空间，等待某些事情发生的空间。

　　2013年，OLYA LEONTIEVA凭着一幅空间装置巨作作为结业项目，完成大学课程。

　　OLYA LEONTIEVA现年23岁(也许是时候完成OLYA LEONTIEVA尚未有定案的人生)，仍旧经常从事与空间有关的项目，如商店橱窗、OLYA LEONTIEVA自己的工作室和房间。OLYA LEONTIEVA也常常画画，并是个自由插画家接受绘制插画委托。过去数个月来，OLYA LEONTIEVA也和孩子们一起作画，这个奇妙的经历给OLYA LEONTIEVA带来很大的启示，更使OLYA LEONTIEVA的个人作品进步神速。

　　I was born in July 1991 in Moscow, Russia. With a big support of my family I started to practice art from an early age. Growing up I was confused and uncertain - my passion for art was something so personal and I did not know what to do with it. For a while I did not even think that it might become my profession. It just seemed too good and therefore totally unreal.

　　For a few years I was very much into theater design and was going to the theater several times a week. But I failed to enter the scenography faculty.

　　Than I decided to take another chance and went to study illustration in British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow. During the course I found my own “voice” and became more confident. I took part in few annual school exhibitions and a group show with my course mates in “180m2” Gallery in Moscow.

　　In university I’ve rediscovered painting and discovered abstract art and it awoken some really strong powers inside me. And I’ve started painting like crazy. After a while I’ve realized that I am drawing and painting mostly spaces. Spaces that carry a certain atmosphere, spaces that I am comfortable in, spaces for something to happen.

　　I’ve graduated in 2013 with a huge spatial installation diploma project.

　　Now I am 23 (so it’s probably time to finish my inconclusive bio) and I still make spaces sometimes - shop windows, my own studios and rooms. Also I draw and paint a lot and take commissions as a free-lance illustrator. For the last few months I’ve been also working with kids, which turned out as an amazing experience, great inspiration and pushed my personal work forward.
